Joining AMA brings a multitude of benefits to students across the country, read more below!
AMA focuses on professional development (personal branding, professional headshots, networking, resumé and cover letter review, etc.). Our collegiate chapter joins 320+ other schools and 65+ professional chapters within the AMA family. By being a part of a larger national organization, we are able to gain access to exclusive networking opportunities and become a part of an organization that many recruiters and other business professionals are aware of. This serves students better than a "marketing club" when employers look at our resumés.
Our goal is to offer all members the opportunity to get as much possible out of joining this organization. Whether it be leading a meeting, hosting or planning an event, updating our website or writing newsletters, we want everyone to have the opportunity to grow their resumé however they would like to. Last year, we submitted our chapter planning documents to the international conference and won an award for exceptional planning.
Carroll University AMA joins over 320 collegiate chapters and 70 professional chapters, allowing for excellent networking opportunities, opportunities to participate in competitions, and access to exclusive AMA resources.
CU AMA makes it a priority to provide opportunities for students from all areas of study. As one of the few business student organizations on campus, we place a strong focus on working with our members to provide them curated opportunities in their respective studies.
With an emphasis on professional development, CU AMA ensures that all members will have the opportunity to have a professional photo taken, access to reputable guest speakers, and invitations to campus AMA events. As a student organization, we host and promote events across campus that bring students and faculty together across all areas of study.
The national AMA requires that students pay $29 in yearly dues. CU AMA does not retain any of the funds in order to provide the lowest possible cost to our students.
Check out our 2022/23 annual report that was submitted to the AMA.
