4/19/23 - Shawn Mangan, a Carroll University Alum, spoke about running a business, networking, and financial planning.
3/23/23 - Carroll University alumna and email marketing coordinator at WeatherTech Kloe Longtin virtually joined AMA to share about her top strategies she uses in email marketing.
3/1/23 - Dr. Trainor joined Carroll AMA to share about his industry experience, give advice on succeeding as a student and professionally, and lead an interactive discussion about the future of the School of Business.
2/22/23 - Erika shared about her experience as a marketing manager for Twist Boutique in Green Bay and behind the scenes of starting her own clothing line.
2/15/23 - Leanne Herdegen, Senior Recruiter, Global Growth and Concepts at Starbucks discussed her previous experiences at Netflix, Kohls, and TOMS (the shoes), as well as interviewing candidates, negotiating benefits/compensation, and finding an employer that matches your goals post-grad.
11/7/22 - Lydia Guell joined us from Career Services and personally helped members with their resume and cover letter.
11/3/22 - Owen Hawver, AMA President and Business Analytics Intern, spoke about the benefits of networking and how to make connections to benefit your profession career.
10/13/22 - Several Carroll University AMA members were able to participate in the Northwestern Mutual Mock Interview Competition, hosted by UW Milwaukee AMA. We are extremely grateful for our friends at UW Milwaukee’s AMA chapter for including us in this great opportunity to brush up on interview skills and network with like-minded students!
10/7/22 - Several members of the Carroll University American Marketing Association competed at the Regional Conference at UW Whitewater. This event was a great opportunity to network with 400+ attendees, attend workshops, compete, and listen to guest speakers.
10/6/22 - Jessica Hammer spoke of her education, pageant, professional, and community involvement experiences. She gave advice on interviewing, public speaking, and becoming involved as a leader.
Members had professional headshots taken to use in portfolios and LinkedIn.
9/6/22 - AMA hosted a Coffee and Donuts event in the Campus Center. We offered a morning treat to fellow students and professors as they began their day and shared our mission as an AMA chapter.
4/12/22 - CU AMA welcomed Matthew Schoenwald, Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Northwestern Mutual, for a discussion on corporate finance and relevant skillsets.
4/5/22 - CU AMA welcomed Campus Recruiting Manager from Direct Supply, Wade Krogwold, to campus to discuss resumé/interview tips and company culture.
3/3/22 - CU AMA hosted an interactive resumé workshop in collaboration with Career Services. As many students are applying for post-graduation jobs and summer internships, this workshop was very beneficial!
2/17/22 - AMA Members attended the convocation with former CDC researcher, Johnnie “Chip” Allen.
2/1/22 - Realtor Alyson Marr spoke to Carroll University AMA students about marketing, real estate, career path, and more!
12/6/21 - Olivia Obregon, owner and founder of Eleven Pilates Studio in Milwaukee, spoke to CU AMA about entrepreneurship and small business. Followed was a group Pilates Mat class!
11/15/21 - CU AMA was ringing bells for the Salvation Army at our local Hobby Lobby location.
10/4/21 - As the Vice President of Arena Marketing during the Milwaukee Bucks NBA championship, Gracie Pugliese had a lot of sports marketing insight to share!
